Received Postcard NL-1392064 from Tamma82, the Netherlands
This postcard sent by Tamma82 is quite different from those others from the Netherlands -- the stamps are not airmail stamps. Instead, they are beautiful usual stamps. I have enlarged the stamps so it can be seen more clearly. I love the mini-comic stamp and the postcard-in-stamp stamp is my favorite.

Received Postcard PL-519920 from elle_pl, Poland

Last September, just when I started to think that I would not get any UEFA postcards, Ela from Poland sent me four, which was more than I could hope for. As for the stamps, that Rubus idaeus, or European raspberry, according to wikipedia, on them looks delicious...

And here is the official website for Kapela Praska; make sure to listen to their songs!

Received Postcard NL-1353270 from gewenst, the Netherlands

Windmills and Swans in the Netherlands
Stamp on the Envelope
Enclosed Stamps

A few days ago I received a postcard from the Netherlands with ten beautiful stamps enclosed. It was sent by gewenst, a Dutch postcrosser. Though Christmas is still four months away, looking at the stamps gives me the feeling that Christmas is very close. I like the two little swans on the front of the postcard, they look cute being next to the adult swan.

Received Postcard TR-70451 from senasurmeli, Turkey
Perseus and Andromeda Mosaics

The stamp on the postcard.
Last September, I received a postcard from senasurmeli, Turkey. It was my first received postcard from Turkey and, so far, it's the only one as well. I was somewhat excited to see the postcard because it's the Mosaic of Perseus and Andromeda. I'm a big fan of Rick Riordan, the author of Percy Jackson&the Olympians, so naturally, anything related to the Greek mythology captures my eye. The lovely bird on the stamp is called Chukar(Alectoris chukar).

Received Postcard ZA-25257 from nrrdgrrl, South Africa

Johannesburg--the biggest city in South Africa by population
A 3D Image Stamp
Airmail Label

Today upon returning home I saw a postcard with an unfamiliar stamp lying on the table, which must have been taken out from the mailbox by my younger brother. A second look told me that this postcard had traveled all the way from South Africa--my first postcard from Africa! The sender, nrrdgrrl, patiently explained on the postcard that the stamp is not a misprint but a 3D image. What a creative and breathtaking stamp! The airmail label looks so graceful it makes me think that our airmail label leaves something to be desired...

Received Postcard NO-64719 from pefawm, Norway

Hilsen fra Norge: Greetings from Norway!

Stamp on the Envelope

Enclosed Stamps

Today when I returned home, I went downstairs for the mails. I was very surprised to find a stamp I didn't recognize at the first glance(perhaps I'd been exhausted, since I stared at the word Averden and thought, oh, I didn't know there's a country called Averden.) There was yet another pleasant surprise waiting for me, though, because when I opened the envelope, there were 13 beautiful stamps and a nice postcard inside. Such a wonderful gift after this long day.
I checked out the sender Gerlinda's profile, and found out that she also has a blog for her collection(much bigger than mine, though):

Received Direct Swap Handmade Postcard from gloria04, Hong Kong

Gloria's Handmade Card

The stamp on the postcard.

When I first saw this postcard, I thought it was printed. Then I realized it is a handmade card. The only thing I have to say is that Gloria's handicraft skill is impressive. Here is her rubber stamp collection http://www.flickr.com/photos/gloriaaaaac/.
